Kyros Hydrogen Solutions GmbH developed a PEM electrolysis system for the customer Solar Global a.s.
The system houses integrated PEM stacks in a 20′ container, with power at 220 kW. By using 2 PEM stacks, a production volume of 40 Nm³/h hydrogen can be achieved, and the system is reinforced with a failsafe mechanism, ensuring continuous operation at all times. The system produces hydrogen at a pressure of 40 bar and contains a drying component to ensure highest purity.
The water supply is purified through a reverse osmosis system, enabling local drinking water to be used in the PEM. The PEM is also fit with a cooler system that increases flow rates of the hydrogen supply.
